So It Begins

In about 12 hours the first race of the Year of Memories begins. It’s the Lucky Clover 5K in Springfield, Oregon. My goal is to run this race in under 30 minutes. My REAL goal is to raise $10,000 this year for the Alzheimer’s Association. So far we’ve raised $570, which is pretty good, but it’s a long way of $10,000. Thank you to all the folks who have donated, who have prayed, who have said way to go and if you see a chunky 30 something guy running wearing a purple shirt that says “GoGregGo” on it say “Hi” “Say Let’s Go!” “You can do it!” or some other words of encouragement because I’m going to need it.

One last thing. Our team is growing, running with me tomorrow will be one of the youth from the Bend Youth Collective AND his parents. His grandmother also died from Alzheimer’s. So wish us luck.

Blessings,

Greg
